Yunieski Larduet knocks in a run, but Campeche falls to Tabasco. (+Mexican League Report)

It was not a very eventful night for the Cubans residing in the Mexican League yesterday. The bats seemed to go quiet for those from the largest of the Antilles and there was not any pyrotechnics from their lumber on the evening.

Yunieski Larduet continues to find his way with the lumber with Campeche, although the Piratas were beaten 4-1 by Tabasco the centerfielder collected two hits, an RBI in four trips to the plate and is now hitting a solid .261 in the LMB.

His countrymen and fellow outfielder Roel Santos did his part for the Olmecas in their triumph swatting a hit in the trips to the plate and also scoring on an occasion to watch his average jump to .185 on the young campaign.

Félix Pérez had a hit and scored twice in two at-bats to assist Tijuana in their 13-4 thrashing of Guadalajara. The reigning league MVP also walked three time while now sporting an average of .291 and a 1.044 OPS.
