Jorge Soler went yard for the fifth game in a row and drove in two runs in his four trips to the plate and also scored a run. The slugger now has 17 roundtrippers leaving him second in the majors in that department. Yuli Gurriel also knocked a run via a first inning single to aid the Marlins in their 8-5 win over the Angels.

Aledmys Díaz swatted a double in two at-bats and drove in a run, but Oakland was beaten by Houston 6-3. The infielder is hitting .350 in his last seven games. His average rose to .198 on the campaign.

Miguel Vargas launched his fifth homered time and drove in a run to aid the Dodgers in their 6-5 victory over the Tamp Bay Rays. The second baseman now has 25 runs batted in on the season.
