Raisel Iglesias notched his fifth save of the year after pitching a scoreless ninth inning to secure Atlanta’s 4-2 victory over the Oakland Athletics. The hurler from the Isle of Youth has not allowed a run in his last seven outings, while also striking out six over that span and watching his ERA fall to 3.72 on the campaign.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr stroked a two-run single to key a three-run first inning in Arizona’s 6-0 shutout of Colorado. For the outfielder it was his only hit on the night and the slugger also increased his total of runs batted in to 31 on the season.

The native of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba is hitting .345 over the last month is fifth in the National League with a .311 batting average.
