Randy Arozarena hit his 13th longball and knocked in four runs to make the difference in Tampa Bay’s 6-2 win over San Diego. The outfielder from Pinar del Río, Cuba leads the Rays with 48 RBIs on the campaign and is now hitting .285 on the season.
Tristón Casas collected two hits in four at-bats, drove in a run and scored on another occasion to do his part in Boston’s 15-5 thrashing of the Yankees. The Cuban-American slugger augmented his number of RBIs to 20 on the season.
J.D. Martínez knocked in a run via a five inning double and also scored a run, but his best efforts could not save the Dodgers from a 7-5 defeat at the hands of the Giants. The native of Miami, FL leads the team in runs batted in with 48.
