Heredia who was a key offseason pickup for the Landers is also second in the circuit in RBIs (52) and fifth in OPS (.875).
In Japan Ariel Martínez went hitless in two official , walked twice and scored a run to lower his average to .250 in Nippon-Ham’s 6-3 victory over Orix. The catcher from Matanzas, Cuba has also gone yard nine times on the season, knocked in 27 runs and sports a .355 OBP.
