Adolis García collected three hits, including a two-run bomb in his five trips to the plate and drove in three runs to lead Texas in the 12-4 thrashing of Cleveland. The outfielder from Ciego de Avila, Cuba has knocked in nine runs in his last seven games and leads all of MLB in that category with 78.

Jorge Soler opened up the second half of the season by going yard for the 24th time on the campaign, driving in a run and scoring on another occasion, but his best efforts couldn’t stave of a Marlins 5-2 loss to the Orioles. The slugger is hitting .400 in his last seven games.

J.D. Martínez commenced the second half of the campaign by depositing his 23rd ball in the stands and knocked in a run in the Dodgers 6-0 shutout of the Mets. The Cuban-American who was an All-Star for the 6th time in his career has now driven in 63 runs on the season.
