Dayán Viciedo doubled in five trips to the plate, scored once and drove in a run in the the Dragones de Chunichi 11-1 win over the Golondrinas de Yakult. The Cuban first baseman drove in a run for the second straight game, but his average to .240. The slugger augmented his RBI total to 13 on the campaign.
In Korea Guillermo Heredia was placed on the IL after a straining his iliopsoas muscle. The outfielder is leading the KBO with a .332 batting average. He has also swatted 11 homeruns, 19 doubles, has driven in 58 runs and is slashing .396/.492/.888. This is a big loss for the Landers offense.
