Felix Pérez collected two hits in four trips to the plate and drove in two runs to do his part in Tijuana’s 8-7 win over Durango. The native of the Isle of Youth closed the campaign with 59 runs batted and finished six in the league in homeruns (60).
Albert Lara swatted three hits in four at-bats, knocked in a run and also scored a run, but his best efforts couldn’t prevent a Unión Laguna 13-6 loss to Monclova. The up-and-coming player finished the season with a robust .328 average.
