Yordan Álvarez knocked in two via a third inning single to do his part in Houston’s 7-6 win over Seattle. The giant from Las Tunas, Cuba has now driven 66 runs on the campaign leaving him third on his team in this statistical category.

Yoan Moncada stroked a two-run double in the eighth inning to tie a game at five that the White Sox’s eventually one 10-5. The third baseman also scored a run and his average fell to .226 on the season.

Oscar Colás also joined on the act with a hit in two trips to the plate and also drove in two runs. With the key knock as a pinch-hitter the outfielder ended a slump that saw him hitting .182 in his last seven games.
