Cuba reveals its Roster for the Copa del Caribe.

Yesterday the Cuban Baseball Federation revealed its roster for the 2023 Copa del Caribe held in San Juan, scheduled for October 1 to 7. The team will be led by WBC manager Armando Johnson and is made up of two catchers, eight infielders, four outfielders and ten pitchers.

This roster will be the baseline of the team that attends the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago and will undoubtedly be the backbone of the team that will compete in the South American country from October 20 to 28. Puerto Rico will defend its title at home, in this fourth edition the champs will face a stiff test from a loaded Cuban squad.

The roster for the continental event will include names like Roel Santos,Yurisbel Gracial, Erisbel Arruebarruena and Dayán García, while newcomers like Osday Silva and Roberto Baldoquín will add punch to the antilleans lineup. A veteran laden pitching staff will be led by WBC participants Yoennis Yera, José Ramón Rodríguez, Yeudis Reyes Carlos Juan Viera. Prospects like Franklyn Quintana and Jonathan Carbó will add fresh arms to the squad.
