Randy Arozarena launched a 448 foot homerun, the longest of his career, drove in a run and also scored on an occasion during his five trips to the plate to help Tampa down Minnesota 5-4. The diminutive but powerful outfielder now has a career him in longballs and has his third straight 20 homerun season.
Yandy Díaz also helped the cause driving in two runs via a second inning double. The first baseman is second in the American League with a .324 average on the season. Diaz who was an All-Star is having a career year at the plate.
Yordan Álvarez went yard for the 27th on the campaign, a three-run shot in the third inning, key hit in Houston’s 6-2 win over Oakland. The giant over Las Tunas, Cuba is hitting a robust .412 over his last 15 games, the slugger has also now driven in 88 runs on the season.
