Yoan Moncada went yard for the 10th time on the season, drove in a run and scored twice to do his part in the White Sox’s 3-1 win over Arizona. The infielder is hitting .324 over the last month and has 39 RBIs on the campaign.

Yennier Cano notched his 31st hold of the season after tossing ⅔ of an inning in Baltimore’s 2-0 blanking of Boston, the other third of the inning was tossed by his countrymen Cionel Pérez who himself picked up his 11th hold on the campaign. The two hurlers watched their ERAs fall to 2.12 and 3.59 on the season, respectively.

Adolis García homered for the 39th time on the season and drove in a run, but his best efforts could not save Texas from a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Seattle Mariners. Aroldis Chapman could not get an out in the ninth inning by allowing two runs via two hits to take the loss.
