Nick Castellanos swatted two doubles in his four trips to the plate, one of his two-baggers was a key eighth inning run-scoring double to cement Philadelphia’s 4-1 win over Miami to take a 1-0 lead in their best of three Wildcard Series. The Cuban- American has now driven in nine runs in 23 career postseason games.

Aroldis Chapman tossed a scoreless eighth inning in relief where he also struck out a batter to help cement the Rangers 4-0 shutout of the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. The lefty now sports a 2.34 earned run average during the postseason. Texas is now one win away from advancing to the ALDS.

In defeat Randy Arozarena collected two hits in four trips to the plate including a double. The outfielder from Mantua, Cuba saw his mother throw out the first pitch and now hits a robust .339 in the playoffs. The Tampa star’s mother made her first trip to the US to see her son play in a baseball game.
