The Arizona Fall League , also known as the Arizona Prospect League, recently concluded its fifth week of competition and Bryan Ramos was selected as the player of the week. This league brings together every franchise most valuable prospect. The tournament gives these prospects an offseason league to work on their development.
Ramos who is with the Chicago White Sox plays in the circuit with the Glendale Desert Dogs and during the week he slashed .333/.375/.733, hit two home runs and drove in six runs. In 21 games in this fall he is hitting .269 with six extra-base hits (2 2B and 4 HR), 10 RBIs and nine walks. Ramos is currently the number seven prospect within the pail holes organization.

Scouting report:
Ramos shows great promise at the plate. He has an advanced approach for his age, his strike zone is very solid and is able to decipher pitches very quickly. His bat speed from the right side combines with his strength to create solid raw power that could produce 20 or more home runs per season in the near future and as he did in 2022.
In the field he moves well for his size, but he should slow down as he gets stronger and probably won’t gain any agility with age. He has solid arm strength, but shoulder pain limited him to DH and second base for the first half of 2021, he has decent reach, reliable hands and can various infield positions. His lack of quickness makes second base more difficult, and some scouts wonder if he’ll eventually end up in a corner outfield.
