The infielder who had a slow start to the season is now starting to heat up with the lumber is now hitting .294 in the LBPN. After a disappointing WBC Quintana is looking to up his stock with a good season in Nicaragua.
Yadir Drake and Yoelquis Guibert combined for four hits, two runs batted in and a run scored to do their part in Guasave’s 5-1 victory over Hermosillo in the second game of a doubleheader. The sluggers for the Largest of the Antilles now hit .342 and .268 respectively. In the first game Guibert went yard for the third time on the campaign but Hermosillo downed Guasave 6-2.
