The right-hander also fanned five to notch his fourth victory of the season to go along with zero losses. The two-time pitcher of the year in the Liga ARCO is making a case for his third prize and watched his ERA descend to 2.77 on the campaign.
Maikel Serrano continues to swing a hot lumber since joining Jalisco. In last night’s contest the slugger collected two hits in four trips to the plate and knocked in the runs in the Charros’ 11-1 thrashing of Navojoa. Serrano is now hitting .339 and slugging a robust .525 on the season.

In the Dominican Republic Yadiel Hernández knocked in two runs via singles in the third and fifth innings to account for the Águilas Cibaeñas only two runs in their 7-2 loss to the Leones del Escogido. The outfielder watched his average rise to .344 leaving him second in the LIDOM in that statistical category on the campaign.
In Nicaragua Yoanner Negrín threw 6 ⅔ innings where he gave up three hits in 1-0 blanking of Bóer. The hurler also fanned eight and his earned run average fell to 5.06 the season. In an up-and-down campaign the righty has struck out 30 in 32 innings pitched.
