Maikel Serrano continues to kill his old team from Ciudad Obregón. In yesterday’s game the slugger collected two hits in four trips to the plate and drove in two runs to due his part in Jalisco’s 7-5 win over the Yaquis. Serrano has now driven in 30 runs and is hitting a robust .362 on the season.

Yosmany Guerra banged our three hits in five turns at-bat, one of them being a run-scoring double in the sixth inning of Rivas’ 8-2 thrashing of Chinandega. The infielder has been a sparkplug for the Gigantes by hitting .345 on the season and setting the table from the #2 spot in the order.
