The Cuban slugger also scored on two occasions and is hitting a solid .302 in the postseason.
In the LBPRC Pedro León swatted a hit in three at-bats, drove in a run and scored twice to do his part in Caguas’ 13-4 thrashing of Carolina in the first game of their finals series of the Puerto Rican circuit. The five-tool outfielder saw his average rise to .231 in the playoffs and Caguas is three wins away from their 21st league title.
Yosmany Guerra swatted a key eighth inning triple to drive in a run and give Rivas an exclamation point in 7-4 win over El Tren del Norte giving them a 2-1 lead in their best-of-seven championship series. For the infielder it was his only hit of the night in four at-bats. Guerra has been a key figure for the Gigantes hitting .333 in the postseason.
