What is your role on FEPCUBE?

You know I just showed up here today for my first day of practice and everything is very exciting, everything that they are doing here. I am just here to be a part of the group, be a part of the team and help out anyway I can.

Is there anything specific that you worked on in practice?

The most important thing is just getting back into shape. I got done playing in México a week ago. I still feel got, it all about getting into that same routine and getting ready to play again.

How did the winter ball in México help you get prepared for these workouts?

It helped a lot, it really helps keep me in shape. I came from playing playoff baseball and their was a lot of intensity, so I am coming here with that mentality, to keep that same intensity and that same drive.

Have been told if you’ll be in the lineup for Monday’s game?

I believe so. I don’t exactly how much I’ll play, but I’m ready go and ready to play wherever they want me.

Being of Cuban descent, what does this feseration mean to you?

Definitely means a lot. When I got their invitation, I felt like I was a Cuban for that was playing for a Cuban National Team for real. I like it here, it is really cool what they are doing and I am really happy to be a part of it.

You return to Puebla this summer in the Mexican League, what is your goal for this season?

Definitely to win it all again. I said that last year before we won it. I just want an opportunity to do it again with the same group of guys coming back and were hungry again. We are starting from zero, last year was last and we are ready to start it over again.
