Raisel Iglesias tossed a scoreless ninth in which he fanned a batter to notch his third save of the season in Atlanta’s 9-7 win over Miami in a shootout of a game. The right-hander saw his ERA descend to 3.60 and is now seven saves short of 200 for his career.
Tristón Casas went yard for the fourth time on the campaign and knocked in a run to do his part in Boston’s 5-4 victory over the Angels. After a slow start with the lumber the Cuban-American has hit three homers over his last seven games.
Yandy Díaz and Randy Arozarena combined for two hits, two runs scored and an RBI to their part in Tampa’s 9-4 win over San Francisco. The Cubans now hit .206 and .196 respectively. For the Giants Jorge Soler collected two hits and knocked in a run in a losing cause.
