Luis Avilés Jr drives in three, but Veracruz falls to Puebla. (+Mexican League Report)

Luis Avilés Jr connected on two hits in four trips to the plate drove in three runs, but Veracruz still fell to Puebla 9-5. The infielder has now knocked in five runs and hits a robust .345 on the season. Avilés was a key acquisition for “El Águila’s” offense this offseason.
