Roenis Elías tossed 7⅔ innings of seven-hit, four-run ball to notch his second win on the campaign. The left-hander also fanned five in SSG’s 11-6 win over the KT Wiz. Elías now sports a 4.65 ERA on the campaign. Guillermo Heredia helped the cause with two hits and a run scored.

Ariel Martínez doubled in four at-bats and drove in a run in the Nippon Ham Fighters’ 5-4 loss to the Orix Buffaloes. His average remained at .253 and his RBI total rose to 12 on the season. The 2023 All-Star is heating with the lumber after a slow start to the season.

Raidel Martínez pitched a perfect inning in relief in whichbhe struck out a batter during the 0-0 tie in 12 innings between the Chunichi Dragons and the Hiroshima Carps. The lanky right-hander has yet to allow a run this season in 12 innings pitched.
