Nick Castellanos had his best night of the season, collecting three hit in four at-bats one of them being a ninth in solo-shot to tie the game and eventually leading to a Philadelphia 7-5 win over the Angels. For the outfielder it was his second tatter of the season to go along with nine runs batted in.
In a loss Zach Neto also went yard for the second time on the campaign, knocked in a run and scored on another occasion for the Angels. After a slow start with the lumber the infielder is hitting .346 in his last seven games.
J.D. Martínez has hit pretty well in his brief time with the Mets. In tonight’s contest the slugger from Miami went 1-for-4 with a run scored to do his part in the team from Gotham’s 4-2 win over the Cubs. In 17 trips to the plate the Cuban-American slugger is hitting a robust .294 on the season.
