Andy Martin made his debut with the Ibaraki Astro Planets on May 24th against the Saitama Musashi Heat Bears in the Japanese Route Inn BCL (BC League). Batting fifth in the lineup as the designated hitter, Martin delivered his three-run home run with two outs in the third inning, extending Ibaraki’s lead to 5-0. Martin’s home run helped secure a decisive lead for the Astro Planets in their 6-4 win.
