Orlando Rodríguez had peculiar outing in a loss. The right-hander tossed 6⅔ innings of four-hit, no-run ball, yet the hurler still took the loss in Fargo-Moorehead’s 8-1 defeat at the hands of Milwaukee in the American Association.

Daniel Pérez collected two hits in five trips to the plate and drove in a run to do his part in Sioux City’s 10-4 thrashing of Sioux Falls. The Cuban slugger saw his average rise to .255 and has driven in eight runs on the campaign. Pérez is in his second season with the Explorers.
