Adolis García homers in a Texas win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Adolis García went yard for the 18th time on the campaign, drove in a run and scored on another occasion to do his part in the Rangers’ 5-4 win over the Angels. Although he is hitting a miniscule .215 on the season García has driven in 45 runs, second amongst Cubans.

Randy Arozarena double and scored a run in Tampa’s 5-3 triumph over their heated rival New York Yankees. The diminutive but powerful outfielder is hitting a solid .289 over the last month after a slow start to the season.

Nick Martínez notched his first victory of the season after tossing a 1⅓ innings of scoreless ball in which he struck out three of the four batters he faced during the Cincinnati Reds’ 12-6 victory over the Rockies. The right-hander has a victory and 2.53 ERA over his last seven games.
