Leonys Martín goes yard in Querétaro’s victory. (+Mexican League Report)

Leonys Martín launched a two-run in the fourth inning, his 26th on the season which was the blow in Querétaro’s 3-2 win. The Cuban outfielder has now knocked in 63 runs, but saw his average fall to .294 on the campaign.

Yadir Drake went yard for the 12th time on the season during Yucatán’s 7-4 loss to León. The slugger from Matanzas, Cuba is hitting .310 on the season and figures to be a key component in the Leones playoff push. Drake also sports a gaudy .910 OPS on the season.

Henry Urrutia collected two hits and drove in a run for the Bravos in their victory. Urrutia watched his average rise to .344 on and has also driven in 41 runs on the season. The talented veteran has had a return to form this year after below average 2023 by his standards.
