Cionel Pérez also got in on the act by notching a hold of his own, his 10th in ⅔ of an inning of work in which he did not allow a run. The lefty has 2.70 ERA over his last seven outings.
Raisel Iglesias pitched a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a Braves 3-1 win over the Bluejays and earn his 31st save of the season. The right-hander from the Isle of Youth also fanned three batters and saw his earned run average descend to a miniscule 1.27 on the campaign. The hurler has now saved 221 games during his career.
