Andy Pagés launched his 13th longball of the season and also homered for the second straight day, a solo-shot in the fourth inning during LA’s 11-4 drubbing of the Rockies. The rookie outfielder has now also driving in 46 runs and saw his average rise to .251 on the season.
Andy Ibáñez swatted a double and scored a run in three trips to the plate to help Detroit secure a playoff spot during their 4-1 victory over the White Sox. The infielder from the Isle of Youth has been a key for the Tigers this season playing many positions and saw his average rise to .243 on the season.
Adolis García hit his 25th homerun of the season, drove in a run and scored a run to do his part in Texas’ 5-2 win over the Angels. García is now hitting a robust .345 over his last seven games and has driven in 85 runs on the campaign.
