Aroldis Chapman notched his second save of the season after retiring the last two batters of the Red Sox’s 13-9 win over the Cardinals. For the flamethrowing left-hander it was the 337 save of his career and Chapman has yet to allow and earned run on the season.

For the Bosox’s Tristón Casas swatted two doubles and scored twice to help the cause. The Cuban-American slugger is starting to heat up after a slow start with the lumber and now hits .194 on the campaign.

Yariel Rodríguez tossed a scoreless inning in relief during Toronto’s 5-0 loss to the Mets in the New York team’s home opener. The ex-starter watched his ERA descend to 9.00 on the season with the Canadian squad. The 32 million dollar international signee his been a disappointment so far on the mound in his career.
