Zach Neto goes yard in an Angels’ win. ( +Cuban MLB Report)

Zach Neto hit his fifth jack of the season, a fifth inning two-run shot off Michael King during the Angels 9-5 win over the Padres. The Cuban-American slugger now hits .279 and has driven in 10 runs on the young campaign.

Yoán Moncada also got in on the act with a hit, an run batted in and two runs scored in three trips to the plate. The infielder from Cienfuegos, Cuba is hitting a solid .292 over his last seven games and has also  knocked in 10 runs on the season.

Daysbel Hernández notched his sixth save of the season after tossing a scoreless inning in relief during which he gave up a hit and struck out a batter. The right-hander’s ERA fell to 1.89 on the season and the Braves beat the Nationals 4-3.
