Aroldis Chapman makes history in a Boston win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Aroldis Chapman tossed a scoreless ninth inning in relief to notch his ninth save of the season during Atlanta’s 3-1 win over the Red Sox. The flamethrowing left-hander saw his ERA fall to miniscule 1.88 on the season and now has 344 saves for his career leaving him 15th on the all-time saves list.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr swatted a first inning run-scoring double, his only hit in four trips to the plate to do his part during Arizona’s 3-1 victory over the Washington Nationals. The outfielder from Sancti Spíritus, Cuba is hitting a robust .393 in his last seven games.

Randy Arozarena laced a single in the bottom of the ninth to walk it off during Seattle’s 2-1 triumph over the Minnesota Twins. The outfielder has now knocked in 24 runs and sports a solid .729 OPS on the campaign.

Andy Pagés went yard for the 11th time on the season, drove in a run and scored on an occasion, but the Dodgers fell to the Yankees 7-3. The slugger now leads all Cubans in MLB in homeruns and RBIs.
