Yunito homers in a Diamondbacks win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Lourdes Gurriel Jr went yard for the ninth time on the season, drove in a run and scored a run to key a seven-run ninth inning and do his part in Arizona’s 11-10 win over the Braves. The Cuban slugger is now hitting a solid .319 over the last month and is second amongst Cubans with 35 runs batted in on the season.

Andy Pagés laced a single to extend his hitting streak to 10 games on the season and also drove in a run during the Dodgers 6-5 win over the Mets. The native of Pinar del Río, Cuba leads all Cubans in homeruns (12) and RBIs (39). Pagés is making a good case for the All-Star Game.
