Andy Pagés slugged his 13th homer of the season and knocked in four runs to lead the Dodgers to a 5-4 victory over their arch-rival Giants. Pagés now leads all Cubans in the majors with 46 runs batted in on the campaign.

Nick Castellanos launched his seventh homerun of the season, a grand slam in the sixth inning to pace Philadelphia in their 11-4 rout of the Toronto Bluejays. The Cuban-American slugger now hits .279 on the season and has slugged 240th homeruns for his career.

Miguel Vargas went yard for the tenth time on the season to account for the White Sox’s only run in their 2-1 loss to the Rangers. Although he hits a middling .240 his slash line of .322/.440/.762 and 31 RBIs makes a decent case for an All-Star berth.
