Aroldis Chapman notched his 13th save of the season after tossing a scoreless inning which he fanned all three batters that he faced to secure the Red Sox’s 2-0 shutout of the Mariners. The left-hander saw his ERA descend to 1.50 on the season and is now two saves short of 350 for his career.

The flamethrowing southpaw has also fanned 1,288 batters in 790 innings pitched and sports a miniscule 1.09 WHIP over that span, while opponents also hit a minimal .167 against the Cuban hurler over his career.

Andy Pagés swatted a double in three trips to the plate and scored twice to do his part in the Dodgers’ 6-3 win over the Padres. The outfielder from Pinar del Río, Cuba saw his average rise to .282 and leads all Cubans in MLB with 46 runs batted in on the season.
