Yadiel Hernández and Dayán Viciedo combined for four hits, two homers, six runs batted and also scored three times on the evening to lead Dos Laredos to a 10-6 win over Yucatán. Both sluggers now hit .368 on the season.
Luis Avilés swatted a pinch-hit ninth inning three-run homerun, but it was not enough to prevent a Quintana Roo 16-13 loss to Tijuana. For the infielder it was his first longball on the season and now hits .214 in his short time with the team.
Julio Pablo Martínez launched his eighth homer of the season, a third inning solo-shot in his four trio to the plate to do his part in Saltillo’s 10-7 victory over Veracruz. The outfielder saw his average rise to .352 on the campaign.
