Henry Urrutia swatted a seventh inning solo-shot, his eighth on year to due his part in Querétaro’s 9-7 win in the first game of a doubleheader. Urrutia in total drove in two runs on the day and hits .285 on the season. Yurisbel Gracial added to three hits and an RBI to the cause.
Ariel Miranda tossed 4⅓ innings for Querétaro and gave up four runs via six hits, walked six and fanned four on the night, but didn’t factor in the decision. His ERA fell to 10.69 on the campaign.
In the second game Gracial went yard for the fifth time on the season, drove in a run and also scored to do his part in Querétaro’s 7-4 win to complete the sweep of the Sultanes in the twin billing. The power-hitting infielder now hits .339 on the season.
