Jorge Soler launched a ninth inning solo-homerun in four trips to the plate during the Angels 8-3 loss to the Braves. The outfielder now has nine on the season and 200 for his career. Soler now also hits .210 on the campaign.

Aroldis Chapman tossed a scoreless ninth inning in which he struck out a batter to secure Boston’s 5-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds in the first game of a doubleheader. The flamethrowing hurler has now reached 350 saves on his career, becoming the ninth Latino to do so in MLB history.

Yandy Díaz swatted his 14th homerun of the season, a sixth inning two-run shot to do his part in Tampa Bay’s 6-5 victory over the Athletics. The Cuban slugger is now hitting .407 over his past 15 games and has now knocked in 49 runs on the campaign.

Randy Arozarena went yard for the 12th time on the season and for the fourth time in three days during Seattle’s 3-2 triumph over the Royals. The native of Mantua, Cuba is hitting a scorching .393 over his last seven games.

Andy Pagés deposited his 17th ball in the stands this season, his only hit in four at-bats during the Dodgers 5-4 win over the White Sox. The outfielder leads all of his countrymen in the big leagues in homeruns and runs batted in.
