Randy Arozarena walloped hit 15th longball of the season, a two-run fifth inning homer, but the Mariners still fell to the Yankees 9-6. The outfielder has now homered for the seventh time in his last 15 games and has driven in 44 runs on the season.

Edgar Quero collected two hits, drove in a run and scored a run in three trips to the plate during the White Sox’s 2-1 victory over Toronto. The rookie catcher is now hitting a solid .275 and has driven in 20 runs on the campaign.

Nick Castellanos swatted two hits in four at-bats, including a sixth inning run-scoring single to do his part in the Phillies 13-0 thrashing of the Giants. The Cuban-American has driven in five runs over his last seven games.

Romy González launched his fifth homerun of the season and knocked in two runs during Boston’s 10-2 triumph over the Colorado Rockies. The utilityman from Miami is now hitting a robust .500 over his last seven games.
