Edgar Quero knocks in three in a White Sox’s win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Edgar Quero swatted his fourth homer of the season and knocked three runs in total,  while also scoring twice to lead the White Sox to a 9-6 win over the Tigers. The talented catcher is now hitting a solid .277 during his rookie year im the big leagues.

Carlos Rodón tossed seven innings in which he allowed a hit, an earned run and fanned five batters during the Yankees 9-1 thrashing of the Twins. The Cuban-American lefty also walked a batter and saw his ERA descend to 3.25 on the campaign.

José Iglesias launched his first homerun of the season, a second inning two-run shot in the Padres 5-1 victory over the Giants. The infielder has played a key role for the team in a reserve role and has now driven in 27 runs on the season.
