Yandy Díaz collects five hits and Tampa Bay downs St. Louis. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Yandy Díaz had one of his best days as a professional collecting five hits im six trips to the plate, drove in fours runs and scored twice to lead the Tampa Bay Rays over the Cardinals 11-7. The Cuban infielder is hitting a blistering .563 to open the season.

Randy Arozarena swatted two hits in four trips to the plate, drove in a run and scored a run to do his part Seattle’s 8-0 blanking of Cleveland. The outfielder is hitting .308 and has driven two runs on the early campaign.

Zach Neto swatted his second longball of the season, a fourth inning two-run shot during the Angels’ 9-7 loss to the Astros. The Cuban-American shortstop has now knocked in three runs and sports a sparkling 1.067 OPS on the season.

Jorge Soler also got in on the with a bases clearing double in the third inning to driven in three runs. Although the slugger hits a paltry .188 he has knocked in five runs on the early season.
