Zach Neto laces a key run-scoring double in an Angels’ win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Zach Neto collected two hits in four trips to the plate including a fifth inning run-scoring double to do his part in the Los Angeles Angels 7-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers. The Cuban-American shortstop saw his average rise to .233 and upped his run batted in total to 26 on the season.

Jorge Soler also added to the victory to with an RBI single of his own in the eighth inning during four trips to the plate to help secure the win for the halos. The slugger has now knocked in 31 runs and saw his average rise to .231 on the campaign.

Although he did not get a hit on the evening Yordan Álvarez still contributed to the Houston Astros 5-1 win over the Texas Rangers with a run scored. The slugger from Las Tunas, Cuba saw his average fall to .307 on the year and is eighth in the American League in runs scored with 37.
