Adolis García swatted a first inning double to drive in a run in three times to the dish during the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 win over the San Diego Padres. The outfielder broke a 2-for-20 slump with the hit and has now knocked in 16 runs on the season.
Yordan Álvarez continues to swing a hot bat. The native of Las Tunas, Cuba collected four hits in five at-bats, while also driving in a two runs and also scored an occasion during the Houston Astros 11-9 to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Álvarez is now hitting .407 over his last 15 games and is second in the American League in runs batted in with 44.
