Infielder Dyan Jorge will play in the 2026-27 season of Puerto Rico’s Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League (LBPRC). His signing with the club was recently reported via our sources on X.
Jorge is a member of the Colorado Rockies organization and has spent the entire 2026 season with the Hartford Yard Goats, the organization’s Double-A affiliate. In 109 games, he is batting .241 (97-for-403), a significant improvement over the .199 average (79-for-398) he posted with the same club a year ago.
He has scored 60 runs and driven in 33, with 17 extra-base hits: 15 doubles, one triple and one home run. He has also drawn 60 walks while striking out 102 times. The young Cuban has posted a .342 OBP, .290 slugging percentage and .632 OPS, numbers that clearly show that power is not one of his standout tools. What does stand out, however, is his speed on the bases.
That is evident in his 47 stolen bases in 60 attempts so far, a 78.3% success rate. In the Eastern League, only Detroit Tigers prospect Peyton Graham has more stolen bases (58) than the Cuban infielder. Jorge’s arrival in Puerto Rico will mark his first experience in winter league baseball. Seven Cuban players appeared in the LBPRC during the 2025-26 season, although none played for the Senadores.
