Óscar Colás walks it off against Baltimore

Although it was his only hit of the afternoon it came with impeccable timing. A run scoring single by rookie Óscar Colás in the bottom of the 10th inning brought in Selby Zavala with the game winning run to lift Chicago to a thrilling 7-6 victory over the Orioles on Jack Robinson Day. Yasmani Grandal also hit two doubles amongst his three hits, the latter one being the game tying hit earlier that inning setting the stage for rookie. The average of veteran catcher now sits at a solid .298 on the season.

José Barrero knocked in two runs via a single in four turns at the dish and also scored a run to help pace the Cincinnat Reds in their 13-0 victory over the NL champion Philadelphia Phillies. The young shortstop from Havana drove in his seventh run of the young season and is now hitting a solid .286 in his last seven games.

Yordan Álvarez knocked in three runs via a double in the third and a bases loaded walk in the seventh to lead Houston to a win over their arch-rival Texas 8-2. The giant from Las Tunas, Cuba is now hitting .292 and leads all of MLB in runs batted in with 20. Adolis García knocked in a run in defeat and now leads the Rangers in that category with 14.
