For the first baseman from Artemisa, Cuba it was his only hit on the night in three trips to the plate, while still managing to drive in a run and also score in Frisco’s 9-0 lead in a game suspended in the fifth due to inclement weather. The contest will be continued today, while Arias now has two jacks and an OPS of .896 on the season.

In A Ball Rafael Sánchez was dominant in Dunedin’s 2-0 victory over Palm Beach yesterday in A ball. The 23 year old righty hurled seven innings where he only gave up four hits while striking out five to secure his first victory of the campaign. Sánchez now sports a shining 1.40 ERA on the season.
