Yuli Gurriel not hit an inside-the-park homerun, but he also stole a base in the Marlins 7-4 loss. The Cuban infielder not only drove in a run, scored on a occasion, but at 38 years young swipped a base.
Gurriel who has been mostly a part-time player this season in hitting a solid .293 on the season. His play might earned him some more at-bats as the season wears on. Jorge Soler added a hit in five trips to the plate and scored a run to help the Marlins’ cause.
Another Gurriel, Lourdes also had a productive night. Although the youngest of the Gurriel clan collected two hits, scored a run and also stole a base. The outfielder who is hitting .267 is a key cog in the Diamondbacks offense.
