Rafael Sánchez continues to dominate on the mound with Dunedin (A), the Cuban lefty have up one hit and an earned run to win his third game of the season in Dunedin’s 9-5 victory over the Bradenton Marauders. Sánchez also fanned 11 and saw his ERA fall toba miniscule 1.14 on the season.

In Advanced A ball Yanquiel Fernández lumber seems to be waking up. Last night the slugging outfielder swatted two doubles, drove in two runs and scored twice to lead Spokane to a 17-8 thrashing of the Everett Aquasox. Fernández is now hitting .259 on the campaign.

Raisel Iglesias made a rehab appearance in Gwinnett’s 6-1 victory over the Buffalo Bison. The righty from the Isle of Youth hurled a scoreless second inning where he struck out a batter. The closer is getting in shape to join the Braves in the near future.
