The infielder who hit his second bomb of the season saw his average jump to .243 and has now knocked 10 on the campaign.
For the losing Honey Hunters JC Escarra swatted two hits in four trips to the plate and scored on an occasion. The Cuban-American is now hitting a robust .351 on the season and has been a productive under the radar acquisition for the team from North Carolina.
Alejandro Rivero continues to be a juggernaut with the bat for the York Revolution. In yesterday’s action the slugging third baseman banged out three hits in four at-bats, swatted his third long ball of the season and drove in three runs to pace York in its 10-5 win over the Staten Island Ferry Hawks. The ex-Cubs prospect watched his average jump to .441 on the season.
