Adolis García knocks in five in the Rangers’ victory

Adolis García knocked five runs via a single in the first in the first inning and a grand slam in the eighth inning to lead Texas to an 11-3 thrashing of Oakland. García who has driven in 37 runs in his last 30 games leads the big leagues in this category with 42.

Luis Robert went yard for the third day in a row and drove in a run but his best efforts could not save Chicago from a 4-3 defeat to Houston. The outfielder is hitting a robust .413 over his last 15 games. Robert has also now driven in 27 runs on the season.

Yordan Álvarez drove in two runs via two hits in a losing cause for the Astros. The giant from Las Tunas, Cuba is second in the majors with 37 runs batted in on the season.

Andy Ibáñez laced a double and drove in a run with a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to seal Detroit’s 5-3 victory over Seattle. The infielder from the Isle of Youth who is hitting .295 on the campaign has also knocked in two runs in his last four games.
